The seven things every broker asks us first.

Is GC Broker authorised by the NIC?

GC Broker is software — not a broker — so it doesn't need an NIC licence itself. It is, however, designed against the NIC's Insurance Act 2021 and the NPNC/2014 cash-and-carry directives, and is operated by a registered Ghanaian entity (NDPC-registered data controller, RGD: CS-000-4810).

How long does migration from our current system take?

Most migrations land within 7–14 calendar days. We bring policies, endorsements, claims (with attachments) and a 24-month ledger across. You keep operating on your old system during the move — we cut over the weekend you choose.

Which insurers and payment channels are pre-integrated?

Insurers: Star Assurance, SIC, Enterprise, Vanguard, Hollard, GLICO, Allianz, Old Mutual, Donewell, Phoenix, Loyalty and Quality. Payments: MTN MoMo, Vodafone Cash, AirtelTigo Money, GCB, GTBank, Stanbic, Absa and Ecobank. Anything outside this list can be added — typically 2 weeks.

Where is the data hosted?

Primary region: Accra (MainOne data centre). Disaster-recovery region: Frankfurt (EU). On Enterprise we can do single-region (Accra only) or on-prem inside your own data centre.

Do clients need a separate app for the portal?

Web works on every device. Native iOS and Android apps are available on Growth and Enterprise plans, both white-labelled with your branding and published from your developer account.

What's not in pricing?

Pricing covers every module — no upsells. The only paid add-ons are USSD self-service (carrier fees passed through), WhatsApp Business (Meta fees passed through), and custom insurer integrations beyond the 12 we ship with.

Can we cancel?

Any time, with one calendar month's notice. We give you a full SQL export of your tenant on the way out — your data is yours, not ours.
